Welcome! This is my old, original thread that was started in the Black Market. With the evolution of our great forum here, I wanted this one moved to the new White Market to give me a space to inform everyone of the many changes that occur at my store. Everything has been left intact for a future reference. Jeff

Hey All,
This has been a long, long time in the works. Although I am not quite ready to launch yet...I am nearing the finish line. I figure it's close enough to let the cat out of the bag, as they say.
Here's what we will have going.
Exclusive place to buy the following raw components:
->Ed Anderson’s well-known version of the AP2623-1 transformer. We call it the EA2623-1 Many of you know the story behind it and have purchased them already for 525 builds and such. They should always be in stock. Pricing will $25 each, with breaks down to $20, depending upon qty. Remember, these were the balancing transformers used on the vintage desk channels, not the 2503. We will be stocking a channel frame mount for these, to give you more mounting options.
->Speaking of the 2503, I mean EA2503. Ed is testing and completing R&D now. Pricing has yet to be finalized, but will be complete in a few days. Like his work with the 2623, these will be very hard to beat when it comes to emulation of the vintage AP2503. Pricing will be kept as low as possible and will also feature quantity discounts.
->Our EA2623-4 transformers are the PCB mount version of the 2623-1, and electronically identical. These were used on the vintage ACA’s in the old desks. Proto’s have been made and are being tested now as well.
->As far as input transformers…after some prodding, a proto EA2622 is in development. We will keep you up to date with Ed’s progress on these too. Like the others, they will be hard to top in duplicating the vintage AP2622 qualities. Pricing TBD.
->Next, are finely crafted, black anodized, solid aluminum control knobs. You know the ones! NOT natural…but black. These all have a machined white index line on the top and the side. We will be stocking a few sizes in large quantities. We will have to see what is most in demand. We will have many different sizes and colors of the PSA colored aluminum inserts in stock too.
I have the first batch of knobs in hand. I am completing the colored insert stock in the next few days. This has been an extremely long and difficult process. Many, many months. I have shared my frustrations with a few of you in private. I do have to say, it was worth the work. They look great! We will have 6 different configurations to start with. Multiple sizes, some with the pointer and some plain. Very bad-ass in black!
BTW, I have not and do not plan on ordering the knobs in the natural aluminum. I will have the originals from my desk for sale on a first come, first serve basis. I am modifying and refurbishing with a new paint scheme now. I will have the only beige, vintage API 3232 with all black knobs in existence.
Keep an eye on this thread. I will update it when I’m ready to launch.
Please don’t post any reserve quantities here. ALL transactions will be completed at the store. It’s powered by osCommerce with a big thanks to Mike from Hairball Audio for tips, inspiration and a general “you can do it too” attitude!
Cheers, Jeff
