Curious if anyone can tell me if a power transformer's lovely hum radiating magnetic field is related more to the size of the transformer or the current demand--provided that it is operating below the point of saturation.

I might guess a bit of both, but more so current draw.

To rephrase the question, if the load demand is kept the same, will a larger transformer produce a larger mag field than a smaller transformer?

Well, a transformer is not supposed to leak flux any more than an engine should leak oil.

Which makes a bigger oil-stain on the driveway: a Honda Accord or a Triumph 650? Although 1/4 the size, the Triumph makes the bigger stain.

Load normally makes little difference.
