I have a disc mastered using HDCD encoding. I need to rip and change fades, and I've been notified by the mastering engineer that if I do so, the fades will be 6 dB louder than the rest of the program material when played in an HDCD player. How do I remove the coding from the disc during the rip, so that I can do the fades and reburn a new disc?
