Let's say you want to take a signal straight from a bass guitar to four, or five, or six different places (like a tuner and some pedals), can you just make a passive splitter, nothing but wires and connectors?

Should be active buffered. Use the search, we've talked about it before. There were some schematics floating around.

How would you implement that in a splitter design, use it first then split? Or split the signal and then have that circuit on each individual line?
