So I've been thinking about getting rid of my bulky old scope and puchasing a nice hand-held signal analyzer such the Minilyzer: http://www.mcminone.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=MCMProducts&category%5Fname=3830492&product%5Fid=72%2D6758

Has anybody ever used this guy or have feedback/suggestions on something similiar.

Cheers!

I'm going from memory here, but IIRC, the Minilyzer only goes to 20Khz... If you've got oscillation up in the Mhz region, you won't see it...

I can think of several times lately where I needed my 'scope's ability to go up into the Mhz region... If you're into modern, "high speed" op-amps, you won't want to put the 'scope in the trash quite yet...

Minilyzers look cool though!

Justin
