Something like this? Eminence makes some too. This pic is from Parts Express in the US. Biggest seems to be rated about 400W, but I think that is an RMS rating.

I guess I should clarify,
would this take a peak of 1000w... ?
 
Peak to RMS is 0.707x (or 1.4x depending on which way you go!) So basically you gotta have a 700Wrms rating to get 1000 peak.

Short answer, not quite. 600Wrms would get you really close at 840W peak.
