hi guys, i have a pair of cm66 schoeps mics i need a definitive answer...do these things have tubes in them or not??? i'm being very delicate with these how do you get them apart? anybody have any info on the n60b supply units ? i looked on the schoeps page and can't find this particular mike. thanks for any help with this........frank

AFAIK, CM66 refers to the 3 switchable patern capsule. Those were usualy mounted on the CM60 body which definitely use a 6AU6 tube.

As explained on the Schoeps website:

You can also have a look at its predecessor the CM61, which is said to have almost the same circuitry:

On Microporium, http://www.sdiy.org/oid/mics.html
there a schoeps CV60 schematic wich I supose is the one that suits your mic.
It gives the voltages you should find on the PSU...
