Hi all,

I've build one last year, friend have try it in studio, the conclusion was :difficult to use with other modern gear, cause this unit has too much gain, and I think it's completely normal,so I build a T-pad (big thank for NYD T-pad) :thumb:) one for the input and one for the output which work from 0 to -20 dB,my unit have Edcor TxIn600 /10K and TxOut10K:600.And it's very nice now using this pad this comp do a good job! the Attn on input was -10dB and on Output -20dB.

Best regards,Bruno. :thumb:

yes, the outputgain of the am684 is way to loud without some kind of resistance. A T-pad makes perfect sense!  Ive just strapped a resistor (think it was a 600r) on mine together. a variable stepped attenuator would obviously be better
