yes, title says it all....
i have some preamp psu's with phantom on them ect...but wanted to find a standard already good designed phantom power pcb trace image.

Is the soft start any good?

How much current is really needed for a single mic's phantom power? I assume i can use a tiny transformer for a single mic if needed yes?
 
Worst case scenario hapens when both hot and cold are shorted to the ground (trough the 6K8 resistors), then I=U/R...
48/6800 = ~7mA, multiply that by 2 (cause there are 2 X 6K8) = 14mA. So, assume 15mA per channel, and you'll be fine.
