Hi,
I have an audio signal that should be routed into 4 different inputs (4 pots);
The 4052 analog switch seems to accomplish this: it's a DP4T.
It is controlled by a 2 bit sequence.
I want to use a momentary pushbutton switch, so that each time it's depressed, it sends a pulse.
My question:
How do I control the 2 bit sequence so that each time I press the pushbutton switch the count increases to next level? (= each time I press the signal goes to out 1, then 2, 3 etc.)
for ref. bit count is:
A0 A1 Dec
0 0 0
0 1 1
1 1 2
1 0 3
A binary counter, perhaps? any hints? links to some useful schematics?
Any help much appreciated.
