So I thought it would be interesting to see how old everyone is on our forum.

after reading alot in the "LAB" and other places its crazy finding out that some
of the dudes that you talk to are pretty darn old..(no offense DIY guru's).
This forum ain't e-harmony so don't get carried away. So I'll start it off!

I am 21 yrs old (I'm thinking I'm one of the youngest DIYer's in here)

please post!

due to my schizophrenia both of us are proud to be also 21

Iain

been playing bass [badly] for 24 years, got the first one the afternoon of my first gig - punk rock stupidity ;D

playing with faders rather than strings for about 20 on and off,

dont think I would change a thing in my life

You're crazy :) It seems logical to me that audio veterans find their place here
I am 35

I am 35

Forty seven, with seventeen years of record production under my belt.

Been upgrading and tweaking recording gear all along.

My brain still thinks I'm twenty five.  8)

Don't trust anyone over 30.

That means I'm doubly  untrustworthy..  :p

I'm 26 and have been recording in some form since I was 14 or 15.  These days it's mostly a hobby and acting as an acoustic/recording consultant to musician friends.

58 and some change. Been recording one thing or another since I was about 12.(Six if you count messing around with my dad's dictaphone.)

Peace,
Paul

I just turned 27 a few weeks ago.  Started playing with sound when I was 7 or 8 on my parents reel to reel recorder and microphone.  Got a Realistic cassette recorder and some cheap instruments a little later, I guess that's when my life as I know it now started..  I wish those tapes were still around somewhere.

So far this year I've been playing with photographic films more than music/ electronics.  Everything comes in waves I guess.

I know this thread has been put up in retaliation to my young and good look claim.

Anyhow, don't forget.

The older the fiddle, the better it sounds.

Though I am a guitar player.

Let's re-phrase.

The older the guitar, the better it sounds. ;D
