Doing a full body kit like the 47? Or designed to fit existing body?

I should have all invoices paid directly to you and chunger.

there will be two versions, one for original housing (U87 or TLM67) and the other for Chunger's imported housings, the discussion can be found here:

11 Kits available now - those are the last kits with the tubes included and probably the last ones for 2014 - get them while they last!

Been wanting to ask for a while.  What is the difference between the BV08 and BV08C?  I notice the smaller one doesn't seem to have the 4 separate windings per side, and has a smaller core (fewer lams) but does that translate into an actual audible difference?  Headroom difference?  Distortion Characteristics?

Forgive me if it's been asked before but I couldn't find anything specific.

Sorry for the delayed reply, i missed your question.

It's always difficult to talk about the sound of my products, but what you wrote goes in the right direction:
extended freq response at the top and bottom of the frequency spectrum, and takes higher levels before distorting.
But compared to many other microphone transformers, the bv.08c is still a "big one" (compared e.g. to bv13 or T14)

Ordered a couple of Bv.11 for a pair of M49s I'm building.  Shipping was super fast and communication was top notch.  Thanks Max, they are beautiful.  Can't wait to get this build started.
