It's always difficult to talk about the sound of my products, but what you wrote goes in the right direction:
extended freq response at the top and bottom of the frequency spectrum, and takes higher levels before distorting.
But compared to many other microphone transformers, the bv.08c is still a "big one" (compared e.g. to bv13 or T14)

I have a "vintage" U-87 (4 wire capsule and battery compartment). When do you expect to have a U-67 conversion kit for those? Does your kit come with the power supply and cableing? Any idea on pricing to the US? Thanks.
