Has anyone ever come across these 2 VST plugins:
AudioScanner and Advanced Audio Equalizer
They date back to 2006 and I believe were developed by the Music Technology Group.
Anyone here download them by any chance ?
Appreciate any info.

Mmm. I saw the thing about Matlab.
I have no idea how to implement it and don't want to get into code etc.
Now VST plugins, those I can cope with!

I've seen demo's and articles around about the use of Audioscanner/Advanced Audio Equalizer but nothing about the availability of the supposed VST plugins which are mentioned.
In fact I'm beginning to wonder if they ever existed.
I've emailed MTG but haven't had a reply.
So....anyone seen these things in action? (I know it was 2006)
Have the VST's ever been downloadable ?

Appreciate any help.

I don't know about that particular plugin, but the same algorithm has been used elsewhere as well:

There was also a free winamp plugin doing the same, but I've lost the link.

equalizer is a bit deceptive as a description, since you can basically remove or extract any part stereo image, discretely. For example the ghost center that we hear in the middle of two speakers. Nothing to do with mid-side processing by the way, but far more sophisticated.

Thanks Kingston.
Yep it's in the same bag as Elevayta ExtraBoy, Izotope Vocal Eraser, ReNOVAtor, ReTouch and ADRess.

It's just that AudioScanner was mooted as a VST plugin and I wanted to try it out.
So far I haven't come across anyone who has.
