hi all,

im so close to finishing up my first DIY project! But, I'm stuck on these Vishay trimmer pot leads and pads. not real sure on the proper alignment ???  Vishay says lead A is right below screw adjust, B the middle then C. Not quite sure how to apply this info.

Please any clarification, anyone?

if you really want to be picky, convention is thus:

A B C
  x

with the hole in the second row also corresponding to B to accommodate different trimmer footprints.  either hole works.
but as has been said and repeated, just pop it in.
none of your other resistors have a 'backwards,' no exception here.
