1:1 ratio modification for 1176 ?

does anybody knows how to modificate my 1176 for 1:1 or 2:1 ratio?

Hey , 1:1 ratio is obvious. -just turn off the detector chain and audio is passing from in to out,without any dynamic change.

Hi,

You have 1:1 ratio in bypass mode.

I redrew the ratio switch for more clarity :

Both switches are variable voltage dividers. The left one reduces the quantity of signal injected in the sidechain, defining the actual ratio, and the second one applies an offset to the output of the full wave rectifier, to modify the compressor's threshold (please correct me if I'm wrong). Just interpolate the voltage dividers's values to obtain the ratio you want.

thank you for answering...but bypassing the gr trigger cirquit you dont have gr meter indiaction
...my question is what is the relasionship for modify 1176 to have 1:1, 2:1, 6:1 etc?

It will not move at 1:1 ratio anyway.

Yes, change the resistors that control the ratios.

1:1 = No Gain Reduction to monitor.

Take a look at how a voltage divider works and it'll be an easy job
