Before I do any more to this circuit I am going to yank the regulated HT and heater power supply and build a good ol fashioned one on turret board.  The regulated supply is an Analog Metric BJT one that doesn't seem to want to regulate high voltage. I triple checked my work and resoldered everything.  It regulates heater voltage perfectly.  I usually use ac on the heaters(since my last and only other tube build was the MILA) but Jensen has a note on the cascode input to use clean dc on heaters.  My power xformr has two- 2A  6.3v windings.  Should I recify/RC filter the 2 windings in series@ 12.6v or split them up-6.3v DC @ 12AX7 & 12AU7 and the other 6.3v AC @ 12BH7?  ChrisP
