Got a heads up from the Sonic Circus guys that Stapps studio is up for sale.

Crazy, crazy prices just because Stapp ran his sh*t through it.

1K for a pair of NS10's that probably need new drivers. Whoooo hoooo!!

Screw this selling gear because some has-been parked his ass on it. This gear is meant to be used to make records not to sit in on some collector or fan's shelf.

Hopefully, they'll fail miserably.

On a positive note, there's a very cool Helios that's part of the collection. 'Call For Price'

Ummm hmmmmm.

Regards,
Mark

Yup, my thoughts exactly upon seeing the spam in my inbox.  Guess hype's still hot, huh?

nice gear though, but it does look like some one is giving up. or maybe keeping the really good stuff. hes gonna have the tape machine for a while at that price. and the neve is all reissue, but id take it as a mobile rig

Never heard of him.  How's that for added value?

I HAVE heard of him -- not a fan. But there are lots of products out there where I'm not the target audience. If someone was willing to pay more for something I sold, for whatever reason, I'd be willing to take their money as well.

I vaguely remember when there was a "creed" autographed guitar as a prize in some contest. One of the folks on Hamer Fan Club won it and his first question to the forum was "How do I remove the signatures without messing up the finish?"

I personally would be glad to pay the marked-up prices if it ensures that he stops making music. It's like I'd be making a generous donation to the well-being of the planet, plus I get a free piece of gear to show I care.

Someone should ask them why their prices are so inflated?  ;D

I can just hear the answer; (somwhere near the end of the conversation) "..well, it WAS Scott Stapp's gear you know?"

I love this, thanks!

OH NO!

That no-talent shmuck possibly used the EV ND967 live vocal mic! That's the same mic I use on lead vocal for the band I mix. If my guy learns of this, he will NOT be happy!

;D  just laughed my butt off, thank you.  ;D

Well, it sucked not bad enough to apparently earn him enough to afford all that junk . . . . or at least live and be lead under the impression that he could afford to until it all caved in.  How many times has that movie ran on repeat?

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that his net $ worth is in keeping with the current flow of opinions 'round here.

Just another broker sale to me. (broker will probably take more home than Scott will)

From his track record buyers might be helping pay off some heavy legal bills, or bail.
