Hello Everybody,
I am trying to spot files of a live recording (with timestamp in the region of 21.00h) into protools but I keep getting this window:

I have posted on the DUC as well but I am not getting anywhere, maybe someone has had this problem before?

Best,
Mattia.

I have done the recording with local time and the concert started at 21.00...
I have tried to set starting time at 20.00 but no changes...

I am going to read the metadata of the files tomorrow to understand what is going on...

is there an issue with bringing in the files at 0:00:00 and moving them to their position? and do you really have a project that is over 20 hours long?

HI sr1200

the thing is that all the files are time stamped around 21.00 (so 9pm onwards) this is due to the fact that my rig was getting LTC from the video guys.
anyway I found the work around it:
I downloaded a BFW reader, checked the starting timecode, set it in the session start and then from the region list pulled the files across in SPOT mode. worked like a charm!

Actually, i was gonna suggest changing the start time of the session in setup->session->general, you can set a start time of something crazy there.  Mulletchuck had a similar issue the other night, his locig session started at like 1:00:00:00.00 which is out of the "normal" PT range. Glad it worked out.
