Neumann PSU

A friend of mine owns a vintage Neumann M49 but he has never been able to use it cause he has no PSU. Could the G7 PSU be modified to fit this mic?

yes.

but make sure that you get the right voltages - too high voltages will hurt the mic.

It's a calibration input pin. You don't need to connect it.

does that use the M7 capsule? if so its 120 volts divided to 60v versus 160 to 80 as in the G7 correct?

Thanks for the reply,

it is a M49b modified to c so it had me confused cause i didnt have the c version schematic.

the capsule in my case is not M7 but a KK49 - still 60/120V.
