Hello.

I've been offered a pair of channels that came from Colin Sanders' Acorn console, which was the one before the first SL4000 console went in to production. They are labeled Acorn CF411. Since they're so rare I can't find any info about how they sound online, and I can't demo them. I know it's a long shoot but, has anybody ever heard these? A few pics here:

any picture?
perhaps people at SSL might be happy to help you putting them back together, it's worth calling them and ask.

Best,
Mattia.

There are a few pictures in the link I posted.

There's nothing to put together, they're good to go. Connected to XLR's and come with schematics.

cool a$$ indeed, but I have no idea how they sound!

Anybody want to guess? I know that at least the input is transformer balanced and that the compressor is a mono version of the early ssl buss comp. Should be nice if only for that.

Make me an offer, if I don't like them I'll consider selling.
