Hello,
I finished my 1176 today. Really liked it and i would first like to say thank you to gyraf, mnats, and all of you who contibuted to this great diy project! Thanks!
One nice thing i tried was hooking the thing up in feed forward mode.
To do so you need to connect the output pot directly to the pcb (not via the ratio pcb).
Then it is easy to connect either the output or input to the ratio pcb for driving the sidechain. This of course depends on the input level and sounds rather drastic. Especially on drumloops this can give very cool sounds!
