Don't recall the mag that did a blind test of speaker wire , but they did have a reasonable summery
that caused me not mind Voodoo as long as I'm not being ripped off for it , that is, to not immediately
discount things but consider their value & practicality .
When they looked at the results of the blind tests for speaker wire most people were no better than 50%
-they could have been guessing and did as well . But in going back over the stats , most people were actually
80% or so correct , though only in the first tries or initial short amount of time , the mags conclusion was that the
participants did perceive differences but that they were small enough to be negated the amount fatigue in the
short period of time and their results worsened as time went on .
And again I mention the studio I worked for that would Never buy anything , unless it was going to bring in more money
................they're still in business .
What's the lesson here , be the seller not the user , become a manager ? or maybe that NO recording / reproducing gear is needed
when playing in a cave in the wilderness [ no power , no problem ? ]
