I'm considering sending him a 1/4-inch head stack from my ATR-102 for lapping.

Has anyone dealt with him before?

Experiences good or bad?

considering it's an atr machine,  why not ATR service.

I have used sprauge before and most recently used JRF for one of the A-827 studers at work. Both did exceptional jobs.

I can recommend  Tom Rappolt at Amp Services in Florida.  He's currently relapping the heads on my MCI 8 track.  Very reasonable prices.  He's the guy that MCI tech Stephen Sadler recommends.

I've been to his site before, but haven't been successful reaching him by the email address on the site.

Do you have a current email for him?
