Of course, i wanna thanks Jakob very much for this design
and all others users who help me along the way...

in mine is the peluso cek12
(there is only 1mm between the capsule and the mesh.
very large capsule and my pipe is a 42mm diameter)

but i tested the blue cactus, tlm103 and peluso 367 also.

all sounds good.

NIce work I like the 3D build.

Someone I lost track of was translating the ZSony article. Something I did get was the tube was painted black to keep any light out to lower the noise. Has anyone tested this? I have not got around to that yet.

The tube looks like a russian wing C.

the tube width is 42mm external (1,64"), 40mm internal (1,56")
it could be tricky to fit the capsule into it
if the capsule width is too large, and mesh too thick.
but if the work is good, no problem even with the Peluso's.

tx ?

copper ?

Very, very nice! Did you paint the tube? How did you prepare it?

:thumb: :thumb:

i sandpapered the tube (copper), the bottom (brass)
and simply paint it three times, and varnished three times
(paint and varnish for cars)

good glossy aspect and good resistance, no problem for now. :thumb:

but it's more fragile than nickel plated for sure.

PS : Brass mesh from Mc master carr, 12x12 holes/inch
but i wanna update it with a 14x14, because there's a very
little 50Hz hum, the noise disappear when i try with double mesh.
but the noise is very little and for now i work with it without problem.
(the MDR7506 headphone of the singer or MC produce 100x times the noise of the mic...)
