Howdy.  Not sure if you guys knew about this, but someone built a version that runs on OS X for all the mac guys.  no need to use a VM like parallels or WINE :)

Neat. it's kinda like the Mac version of DIPTrace, which includes all of the WINE crap without needing to actually install WINE.

Before I go down the path of installing this, do you know how it handles the library paths? The LTSpice libraries are located in $LTSPICEINSTALLDIR\lib and as such are "inside" the Windows environment. It would be great if those library paths were available to the Mac side so they can be backed up and such.

Thanks mulletchuck! no more solve elec or some other crap for not to open the VM or the real windows one, that last make me sick every single time I have to turn it on... now it will be a little less.

Andy Peters, the libraries and C:/ directory structure are located INSIDE the :

LTSpiceIV_V2.app/Contents/Resources/drive_c/Program Files/LTC/LTspiceIV/lib/

Theoretically, you could add a Hard Alias inside that folder pointing to any other libraries located on your mac HD.  However, mac applications are really just directory structures with a .app extension, and you can just drag your libs right into that lib folder and be done with it!

right click on the App and "Show Package Contents" to find the lib folder

Ah, i know about Mac app bundles .... I didn't realize that Wine (or the wrapper) kept the "virtual" C: drive in the bundle, too. Good to know!

Is this software ok?

Looks like they've updated it since I last looked. There was something about earlier versions that made it difficult to use but I don't remember what it was.
