I think you'd be better off selling the VLA and getting a VLA II since they have adjustable attack and release and can be had pretty cheaply and sound great IMO
 
Hi,

You may well be right but i think i can only get about £50 for it as the pro vla 2 is only about £150.
so to be honest i think i'll try and pursue the idea, may need another little pcb in there per channel switching in some other resistors?
