I may have missed this by why the power supply on the board if there's also a separate board for a PSU?
Also, I see some items marked with a * on the PCB, what does this mean? I think I saw something about an input transformer. There are several caps not in the boxed in area though that also have a * so I don't know exactly what I should do there.
