Hey guys,

can anybody help me here?

I have tried any number of 1mA meters with the Fester Tg1 and can't get them to fully deflect.

I have tried Igors shunt fix ( attached ) and it won't work! I am however not using the Hairball sifam SSL meter 1mA thing. Just using a 1mA meter.

Is there anything I can do to get a 1mA meter working in place of the 2.4mA meter required?

Thanks if anyone can help

Thanks PRR,

do you mean R22 which is 7K5? or change 22R? I can't find a value on the circuit valued at 22ohms.

You must mean R22 right?

Thanks in advance

Michael

thanks guys,

yeah i used a 500R pot in place of the 22R and 200R trimmer and it actually made the meter less sensitive.

The shunt fix is not loving my meters. Whatever i do with it. I have the + and - around the right way naturally.

I was hoping there was part of the actual circuit i could modify but maybe not .

regards

Michael
