Hi,

i was working on G7 and was thinking how to fix the mesh when gluing in  ???

I came out with a modified bicycle tube  ;D
Here's a pic of a first test... after that i shorted the tube a bit, so i do not need the bog roll any more  ;D

(The mesh is under that piece of wood hold by the vise)

ROCK-ON!

Brilliant idea! I will have to try that trick next time I make a mic. Previously, I have used a dried up silicone cylinder from a silicone cartridge, and wedged the mesh by using fine screwdrivers poked up between the mesh and the silicone. Works OK, but not as nice as your solution.

Kindest regards,
