Quick question about switching a KMi from 50 ohms to 200 ohms.

From what I can gather from the few online resources, it appears the process is to remove the two little jumpers on the 50 ohm contacts at either end, and just place one of them across the "200 ohm" contacts in the center?

Is this all there is to the process?

The few posts I saw that mentioned " The Jumpering Process" said, it would be too complicated to go into the process here, but it discusses it in the manual for the FET 80 mics.

The manual is a bit piecemeal from the one I saw, but it seems this is all there is to it.

Thanks folks,

John

yes ,  basically all you have to do is to to put the secondary tap of the transfo either in parralelle for 50 ohm or in series for 200ohm,
simple as that ,
hope this helps,
