Hey all! I've been a long time lurker on this site and received MANY tips and tricks from all of you, so first of all let me say THANKS!!
I have a need for a speaker switcher for my studio. I have a set of line level powered balanced speakers that I'd like to be able to switch with a consumer stereo receiver which would power a couple other consumer level sets. The inputs for the receiver are unbalanced and -10. I understand using a 4PDT switch would cover the actual switching but would I use transformers to drop the level? Any ideas?
I've built a number of small diy projects, am pretty decent at soldering, but my understanding of electronics is a bit limited. I haven't gone to school for electronics if that gives you an idea. haha. Alot of you guys could probably solve this in your sleep. Anyway. Thanks again.
