My first G7 in the making

Hi there,

I'm now nearing completion of my G7 project and thought I'd share some pictures.


2" Brass tube cut with a dremel.


Bar rail end cap.


Amphenol Tuchel connector. I liked these.






Found an old suitcase and padded it with foam and cloth.



I've already got a NOS Telefunken tube from Christian Whitmore waiting to get in there, a CK12 from Ben is on it's way here.

I want to thank all the amazing people here, specially Jakob for this very fun project and Gustav for the PCBs.

The more I'm around here the more I love this place.

Yesterday I checked voltages and powered up with tube, but I'm still missing the Capsule and transformer. I'm really looking forward to hear how it sounds!.

So am I!  Make sure to post when you have it up and running.
