Do you remember? once upon a time there was a device, black face, nothing on it, just power switch and 2 or 3 LEDs, at the back 18 jacks and MIDI ports, 8 inputs, 10 outputs, one for each input and 2 for a stereo sum, it was controlled by MIDI, and controlled the level of each input in analog and IIRC passive signal path. I don't remember the name of it, I think there was a topic here about it, but just the name will be really helpful, I lost one really cheap some time ago and I'm looking for info about it again.
Thanks!
JS
PS: The unit was 1RU IIRC, it originally came with a controller, with some faders, to use as standalone or record midi data to a sequencer for automation.
FINALLY here it is, it was driving me crazy, NICHE ACM, anyone here with one?
Thanks!
