It's first ribbon mic projects.

50x10x10 magnets
Adjustable magnet screws for tiny magnets
Cinemag transformer(But there is room for another transformer)
Different foil mechanism
Magnet frame material is plastic(Otherparts are aluminum)
Dimensions: 155 x 40 x 35

I will give more info, soon. For now some simple CAD...

Very interesting. I'm curious to hear more. Are you making these yourself?

Dave (shaggy)

Yes,i will make these myself for my brand. An Eq,a compressor and a ribbon mic.

you have a rough idea of the frequency response of your design?

I have heard of some drawbacks of use plastic frames because it does not complete the magnetic circuit. But  I don't know if it is real or not I would be interest in hear opinions.

I like the mesh!

I've tried some different designs.Acrylic is good. But i can go with porcelain. And other good idea is using light(non intensive) but strong wood!

By the way case can be non conductive.Cause strong magnets are affecting case and it causes pole dispersion like crosstalk.

I'm designing body to get best result. The most important thing about this mic,it has no any conductive part.Even screws...Cause magnets affeting too much every conductive material and this causes pole seperation. So magnet will affet to only the other magnet.

I didn't see any design like this.But it's great!
