Hello Max,

Are you still making the TLM67 to U67 mods?  I've been holding onto my money waiting for you to come back to gearslutz.  Please tell me that a new batch is coming!

Max, is there a chance you could post pictures of the TLM67 capsule wiring?  I ordered one of your kits from a guy off eBay and service parts from Sennheiser to complete the mic, but I'm confused on the capsule to switch assembly wiring.  Thanks.  Jimi Ray

Got it finished.  IOAudio TLM67/U87 mod, Neumann headbasket and switch assembly, Neumann K870/K67 capsule, Neumann NOS U67 body tube and body cap screw.  The headbasket assembly was a bit tricky putting back together once the capsule was mounted (due to the plastic switch pins)...

I dropped way more money on this than I should have but I wanted it to look as authentic as possible.  These are the parts I purchased from Sennheiser (the NOS U67 body tube came from eBay seller "alphaville777", but the standard U87 body tube will work and I listed it below):

    - U87 capsule K870/K67  053225  $639.56
    - U87 housing tube 092465 shows as 205.09 Pounds Sterling on website but will be less when you call
    - TLM67/U87 headbasket 092454 $320.66
    - TLM67/U87 Switch Deck 060746 $424.08
    - U67/87 bottom screw cap - nickel 071070 $150.40
    - U67/U87 Shockmount (Peluso - eBay) $202.15

I think it would be cheaper to buy a TLM67 and just replace the body tube.  Not sure.

Contact Sennheiser at 860-434-9190 ext 1 a to order.

Thanks Jimi.  I ask because I already have a couple of k870 capsules on hand.

Maybe I'll sell the capsules and get the Tlm, but then I still need the body tubes.  Those anniversary versions are ugly.

Let me know if you decide to sell the K870's.  I could use one or two.
