Is it my imagination or does that mixer have a huge routing section, a small EQ section and no sign of mic pres?

Cheers

Your imagination. Ward beck's of that era of modules had the mic pre/ line in the routing modules much similar to API's of the 1970's where you had an input module with mic and line that had auxes and buss sends, then the eq being separate as there were a few different ward beck eq options during that time.

Ah, I see it now. The yellow knob and associated buttons just below the routing switches. A neat idea that allow EQ to be varies without changing the main modules.
