That is a little expensive for a 25VA transfromer.
Edit: Oops, it's not 25VA it is 50VA so not so bad after all.

Odd that the description reads "High quality audio toroidal transformer with custom windings recommend for Audio Projects with OP Amps." 
Looks more like it was designed for tube preamps with solid state rectification.

I also reacted about the saying that it was designed for op-amps when providing some 250 volts =)
And as you say... expensive.
Do you have any ideas on where I can find toroids with similar secondary windings...around 12, 50, and 250 volts?
