I've done some search for a mastering limiter project but i couldn't find anything

I'd like to build something like a Pendulum PL-2

http://www.pendulumaudio.com/PL2.html

is there anything useful around ?

I haven't seen any project like this but a peak limiter is almost a distortion pedal in the guitar world. you are using fet and mosfets as soft diodes. what you need is gain pre and post clipping, some way to measure the gain reduction and balanced in and outs. sound easy and you have many kind of diodes, mosfets, fets, zeners to try.

I just finished this PYE recreation compressor/limiter.

I have the Pendulum OCL2 which is a really fantastic opto compressor and Greg gives great support.  I thought the PL-2 was useless though.  Digital wins for limiters.

the THAT4301 project looks interesting

i am wondering if it works good with mastering levels and is fast enough for mastering use ? without distorting

i would like something at the end of the chain to grab 1-2 dB peaks before D/A

sure there are a lot of plugins but I would really like something in the analog domain
