Hi gents (are there ANY ladies here?)

I'm doing a mic build and have a Q about a transformer, this one: http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=186B20virtualkey54600000virtualkey546-186B20

Data sheet is here: http://www.hammondmfg.com/pdf/186B_data.pdf

The data sheet says it's dual winding primary and single winding secondary with a center tap.

My question is how does output voltage differ when the primary is wired in series vs parallel? I thought output V doubled with primary in series vs parallel, but the data sheet gives no mention - just static output voltage on the secondary.

How can this be? Or do they assume you'll just test it?

I would really appreciate any responses.

Thanks,

Mike

Thank-you, I've seen it. Unfortunately it's wrong. This is a 20V center tap (CR) iron; poctop told me its a generic data sheet.

Thanks for taking the time to post.
