Some comments about NYC's Cortlandt Street (Radio Row) in the UK magazine Wireless World, 1931.
Cortlandt Street today is high-rise territory. Radio Row was torn-up in 1966 for the WTC, some shops moved over to Canal Street, and that's apparently well gone now.
Man, I wish I could have seen Radio Row in it's prime. I have heard some stories, and I am at great distance. I'm sure it would have kept me poor if I'd been close and in time frame.
