M49 Bodies for DIY build projects?

Hello,

I'm looking for a reasonable facsimile of an M49 body. I see that they have been reproduced by several people, but the trail goes "cold" when I try to contact them or get further information.

Anyone know a good source for a high quality M49 body clone?

some folks buy a cheap condenser mic and take the guts out,

did that with a M20u and it came out pretty good,

I've sold out of all my M49 bodies, will get around one day to making some more but finances are at an all time low unfortunately!!

Tab-Funkenwerk has one. it´s not a replica but its similar in the design. Not available right now but i know the will make another batch.
