Hi guys

About the meter for that project, On the schematic, there is an external bridge and resistor for the output reading. So I guess we need a Vu without the internal bridge and resistor, right? All meters I know have all an internal bridge and 3K9 resistor and we need to strap a 3K6 resistor  in serie. Is there a good source to find Vu meter without the rectifier? Also, why do we need to put a 1K8 resistor in serie, if all the meters I found have an internal 3K9 resistor? Analog Vu meter are made to read 0 (in fact +4 dbu) at 1.22V, 600ohm load, , right?

Looking at the other side of the meter circuit, we are strapped across a 240 resistor to read probably the attenuation (gain reduction), the 240ohm resistor beeing between the plates of V1 and V2? On this side, we do not passing through the rectifier bridge. Does that mean we are in DC? How do I adjust the meter to get the 0 right?
