Hi everyone,

I plan to build a TG12413...But I'm searching for original parts for the front panel.
It means

- the vu-meters (with a reversed one)
- the grey and red knobs (they look the same as General Radio KNB-1. I am right ? )
- How to find red ones ??
- those subminiature commutators...which are the good ones with ultra small bats ? Is someone have a mouser or farnell reference ?
- Same for big pushbuttons..

If someone have some interesting informations to share about TG front panel's original parts, I'm interested...and for sure I am not the only one !

Best regards,

Fred

The knobs can be found at audiomaintenance.com (just scroll a bit down)

http://www.audiomaintenance.com/acatalog/Knobs.html

Mirroed meters will be very hard to get. Sifam does have a min order quantity  and the price will be over 200 euro for a pair.

It is said that they can also  be found here :

But I don't know their price...

Sounds like fun! Would you care to share the schematic? I'll buy you a beer in return ;)
You can mail it to me: hans [at] knucklehead.dk - it seems like this forum is a bit scared of that particular piece of gear :p

That's so cute. If it was that easy, do you really think I'd be asking for it here?
Everything links back to this place, where the schematic was removed, or to Igor and Festers defunct websites.

Funny, I managed to get a copy of the schematic by clicking on the very first image linked in that search.

I just received my TG knobs from AudioMaintenance today. they look sweet. I'll start building when I get my custom front panel from Frank via Don Audio. Getting excited!

Fair enough. I had no idea that was it. It doesn't say anywhere on the schem, and it's rather hard to read.
I was just hoping that perhaps someone had the TG51X docs from uncle fester, they'd be willing to share...

I have one of The TG-2 pcbs together with mirrored meters and a pile of components somewhere that I'm probably never going to build. I'm currently moving my workshop to a bigger room so right now everything is packed in boxes. When I find everything I will check how much I paid for it and sell it for the same amount.
