Hi, i have some questions.
1)Is it normal that turning up the threshold at max it turns completly the volume off? (I have no compressors doing this job)
2)I put a signal of 1 KHz at the input. I set the threshold to compress 4 db. Then i swap on until 20kHz. I noticed that it changes the compression according to the frequency in input and around 6 and 10 KHz it does not compress at all! (compression does not change if i sweep down to 20 Hz).
Maybe I made some naive mistake!
Anybody can help me?

SORRY!!!! Problem number 2 solved. It was my "stereo" oscillator!
I have one more real problem. Sending in input a sine wave at low frequency like 60 Hz, the signal compressed is distorted if i use fast attack and release setting. I had the opportunity to test a real SSL comp and it does not have this problem. Does anybody know a solution?

Hmm, don't know if mine is "right" or not.

But it certainly "distorts" like I expect with a really fast attack and
release depending on how much I squish it in that setting.
