Convert u47 to u48 (Abbey Road conversions u47/48, u47/8)

Hi,

After looking around on the forum and elsewhere online, I couldn't seem to find any clear instructions for modding a u47 to u48 with figure of eight pattern. It seems most people are more interested in changing their modded u48s back to u47s. I was wondering if anyone could provide clear instruction on the steps to mod a u47 to figure of eight.

I haven't seen them in person, so can't be sure, but I think the main issue with going from 47 to 48 would be getting an extra connection between the body and the head.

Otherwise, the wiring is simple, a couple of extra components and a component value change is all it takes.

You'll lose about 1.5dB sensitivity in cardiod I think. Slightly lower capsule polarisation voltage in the U48.
