Where to get these EXACT small parts containers/organisers?

Not sure where to post this, but i'm sure the mods can move if need be.

I got a few of these small parts containers a few years back with a build project, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of the place or even which project they came with.  I'm wanting to get a dozen of them as they're absolutely perfect for me - they fit in my cupboard like they're tailor-made, the containment allocation sizes are spot on, they're great to grab-and-go, and I can organise them each according to the project at hand.

Overall size is about 8" x 4".  If I could find out where I can get them i'd be most appreciative.

I've found containers like that at the local hardware store.

That looks like a tackle box for fishing lures. maybe try fishing suppliers.

Unless you bought them very recently, or they're a major brand item that's still in production and sells well, you're unlikely to easily find that exact part. Best bet is to get the exact measurements and try to search around online for "storage box", "organizer", "18 compartment" etc, and one or more of the those dimensions (probably to the nearest .25 or 1/4" or cm if it's in metric).

Maybe buy one of each that have the features you're looking for and then go back and stock up on the one you like?

I've found that when I find something like that that I like, I just buy as many as I think I'll need. I went nuts with some of the Wal-mart and Lowes organizers a few years ago and still have a nice stock of those 3 or 4 styles in storage for when they're needed. Trying to find something later, especially years later, is pretty much not going to happen. The molds wear out, sales fall, and the injection outfit tools up for the next new product.

Personally I never really liked those polystyrene cases. They're prone to breakage. The polypropylene ones seem to be a lot tougher and can survive a fall much better.

Ebay is a good call.  Or look online for shops that sell jewellery supplies and beads and so on.  My girlfriend makes this and has many storage boxes that look very similar to the one in your photo.

Perhaps there is a part number on the bottom?  Search the number and look at resulting images.  In cases like this I find what I am looking for scanning image results rather than links.
Personally I do not like the brittle plastic organizers, so I go with the slightly cloudy softer plastic jams.

I went nuts on the medium sized 24 compartment one that Walmart sells... I think I must have 15 or 20 of those. I have one for regulators and bridge rectifiers, one for opamps, one for quick connectors and shit, and about 10 (!!!) just for transistors! Still more in storage for when I need em.
