I have 8 channels of DAC and 8 channels of ADC from RKN80's project which is described here. :

http://groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=35486.0

I'm about to invest in a new audio interface so I don't think I'll ever need these extra channels which I wanted to add to my current interface.

The DAC boards are mostly soldered but missing a few components which will need to be sourced separately. Only simple passive stuff, a few resistors and caps (codes are for Farnell / Newark) :

1    10U Tant type C 145-7463
3    10U Tant type A                    145-7414
2    5N60 C0805 capacitor    969-4862
2    2k00 C0805 resistor        165-3296
1    330R C0805 resistor        161-2048

The ADC kits are complete as far as I'm aware (I haven't verified that against the BOM).

The total cost for all this stuff was €214 when I bought it.  I'd be willing to let it all go for €125 plus shipping and Paypal fees.

Postage costs depend on where you are in the world of course, but I will charge postage at cost.

Als je in Nederland zijn, betaal met IBAN en de paypal kosten worden verwijderd.  Afhalen in Amsterdam ook mogelijk.  Excuseer mijn slechte Nederlands ;-)

What's for sale :

Close up of solder work.  Not the neatest, but solid :

PM if interested.

I'm just getting up to speed on this project - this board cannot function as a standalone interface but could be slaved to an existing interface for additional AD/DA? How would you hook them up - AES?

Hi,

Yes - AES in and out is possible with these, and if I recall correctly that part of the project was finished.  You'd need to contact RKN80 to see whether the AES interface boards are available though.

At the beginning of the project, there was talk of building an Ethernet interface for the project and that is what I was interested in.  That isn't going to happen now, so I am selling.

More details are in the post at the top, or search for posts by RKN80
