Hi there,

I'm trying my luck a bit but does anyone have a

Panasonic MN3002 bucket brigade IC for sale?

Many thanks,
Martin

Thanks for your reply.

Could you give me an example of where to look?

They make several BBD... probably not pin for pin drop in parts but close enough for a new design.

Their shortest BBD looks longer than that old mn3002 but you can probably scale up the clock frequency for a chorus... wouldn't try to make a flanger from one they won't run that fast/short.

Small Bear has three pages of related chips, including many of the Cool Audio re-make BBDs, but not your specific MN3002. See if any of these work for you.

Buying vintage BBD off eBay has gone from pot-luck to uniformly fake. Cool Audio re-makes on eBay are hit/miss, since there IS new stock, but some eBay vendors can't resist re-marking logic chips with BBD numbers.

If you search the PN there is also an 8bit digital something or other with the same PN so real MN3002 just not the BBD.

Wow just looked and saw one chinese seller with pictures of the old Panasonic BBD parts, but describing it as a "Mitsubishi 8 bit D/A convertor BBD IC"  WTF?? I'll bet dollars to donuts you don't receive the chip in the photo, but a cheap old DAC instead.  Caveat emptor..
