Reviving this old thread, i run into it as i am in the same situation as nashkato. None info on net about this particular piece, was searching about this this week and found same results as you guys, the only forum on web talking about this, in this moment, GDIY did it again! 8)
So, i want also some 3 pin male XLR inserts , as bought these ultracheap cinese BM700/800 and used them only as body donor-headbasket- don't want to use their XLR inserts though, as soldering/wiring situation is like "gollum"
and dont want to get myself in a situation of desoldering and reuse a thing that is already a mess, especially into XLR pins that are my mic's "last station", if we could say. Think that the plastic part is almost melt from heat of soldering and you can easily bend the pins ;D
My searching results had ended up with the same as you, plus that i found as an alternative that Shure (58,57 etc.) XLR replacement connector has aslo a screw but you need to cut this metal thing a bit as its big enough
https://www.thomann.de/gb/shure_xlr_buchse_fuer_sm58.htm, and the same will be needed to the Cannon that you mentioned guys above . I also found a kind of a nice datasheet/flyer from Ningbo with all sort of pins, but as expected, is only for large orders and factory use. Until time we do an XLR Insert Connector Groupbuy

To conclude, in a
Switchcraft VS Cannon "fight" there could be any differences in quality or smthng between the two of them, as Switchcraft(with Neutrik of course) concidered to be always a more trusty option than Cannon as we speak about XLR connections...
What would you guys choose between two of them? Or there are not any differences at all in this particular piece?
PS. Want to finish my built and in my town can only find Cannons. I can have Switchcraft in a week by now and about Neutrik 3MC i have to order from other country so
. Its okay to go with the Cannons?
Peace guys.
